Calculator injection molds are mainly used for mobile phone plastic shells and screens.

In terms of materials, because calculator products need to have a very bright feel and external light, the surface of the product needs to be mirror-finished. For example, the screen of the calculator uses optical material PC/PMMA, and antioxidants must be added to prevent the material from oxidizing and yellowing. At the same time, these screen lenses need to be coated on the surface to prevent surface scratches. For the shell, most of them are currently made of PC material, and the surface is made into a mirror, which will look very high-end. There are also different plastic parts inside the calculator, some of which need to be flame retardant, and some need hardness, all of which we can provide. For the plastic shell, you can choose to use 45#, p20, 718, 718H, S316, H13 to make the mold, according to the customer's requirements for product life. However, for the screen lens, the minimum requirement for the mold material is 718 mold material, and S136 mold material is generally selected. Only this material can make the screen lens achieve the effect of mirror light. For calculator die casting molds, they are mainly used for the metal frame of the calculator.

In terms of materials, zinc alloy or aluminum is generally selected. We can also do sandblasting/electroplating to make the surface of the metal frame more advanced.

At the same time, for the buttons of the calculator, we have two ways to make them, one is injection molding, and the other is extrusion molding. In fact, it is different in materials and costs. If it is made by injection molding, the materials can only be TPU and TPE. The mold of this method is more expensive, but the unit price of the product is very cheap. This is recommended for orders with a large number of products. The second is extrusion mold. The mold cost is cheap, but the unit price of the product is expensive because the material needs to be silicone material, which is more expensive than all plastics. Because silicone material needs a series of refining such as vulcanization to be made.

Q6. What is your payment terms?

A: Mold Payment: 40% deposit by T/T in advance, 30% second mold payment before sending out the first trial samples, 30% mold balance after you agree the final samples.

B:Production Payment: 50% deposit in advance, 50% before sending out the final goods.
