Based on the special use environment of agricultural parts (high dust, chemical corrosion, severe impact, etc.), its injection molding needs to strengthen weather resistance, structural strength and cost control on the basis of general technology. The following are the five core points and technical strategies for agricultural machinery parts:

1. The core logic of material selection

Structural parts (gearbox/bracket): glass fiber reinforced nylon (PA6+GF30%), bending strength>180MPa, adding anti-ultraviolet masterbatch

Fluid parts (nozzle/valve): toughened polyoxymethylene (POM-H), pesticide corrosion resistance, surface finish Ra<0.8μm

Shell/cover: weather-resistant PP+talcum powder (20-30% filling), low temperature toughness (-30℃ impact>25kJ/m²)

Key pretreatment: nylon must be dried at 120℃ for 4 hours (water content<0.1%)

Add anti-hydrolysis agent (such as carbodiimide) to cope with humid farmland environment


2. Special design of agricultural machinery molds

Wear protection

Tungsten steel inserts (hardness HRC≧90) are used for the gate to deal with glass fiber wear (such as rotary tillage blade bracket)

Micro-arc oxidation treatment on the cavity surface (thickness 5-8μm) increases the wear resistance life by 3 times

Anti-corrosion structure

Add auxiliary exhaust grooves (depth 0.03mm×width 10mm) to avoid corrosion from pesticide residual gas

Nickel plating treatment (thickness 15μm) on the ejector system to prevent rust in the fertilizer environment


3. Precise control of templates for process parameters

[Take harvester gearbox cover (PA6+GF30%) as an example]

1. Melt temperature: 250-265℃ (front section) / 235-245℃ (rear section)

→ Too high temperature leads to degradation of glass fiber, too low temperature leads to insufficient fluidity

2. Injection molding segmentation:


Section I: High-speed injection (80mm/s) fills 90% of the cavity

Stage II: Reduce speed to 30mm/s + maintain pressure at 80MPa (eliminate weld line)

3. Mold cooling:

Front mold: 60℃ (water cooling) to ensure surface gloss

Back mold: 85℃ (oil temperature machine) to reduce glass fiber orientation shrinkage

IV. Strengthening post-processing of agricultural machinery parts

Ultraviolet aging: 2 years of field exposure, embrittlement and cracking, adding benzotriazole UV absorber (0.8-1.2%)

Stress cracking: pesticide solvent penetration causes cracking, annealing treatment: 100℃×wall thickness (mm)×1.2 minutes

Winter brittle fracture: -25℃ operation impact failure, insert preheating (80℃) and then encapsulation molding

V. Cost control and batch management
