The plastic structure (brush handle, brush head base) of the injection toilet brush has excellent water resistance and chemical stability: common materials such as PP and ABS have no deformation or mildew in a long-term humid environment, and there is no corrosion or material precipitation on the surface after contacting acid-base solutions with a pH value of 2-12; compared with traditional metal brush handles (easy to rust, short service life), the normal service life of the injection toilet brush can reach 3-5 years, and there is no need to worry about cleaning pollution caused by rust of metal parts.

2. Special-Shaped Brush Head Design, No Dead Corners in Cleaning

B、Production Process of Injection Toilet Brush Moulding

1. Product Design and Mold DevelopmentFirst, determine the core parameters of the toilet brush according to the use scenario: household brushes focus on lightweight and aesthetics (multiple color options for the brush handle), while hotel/public bathroom brushes emphasize durability and easy cleaning (simple brush head structure, no complex gaps). Draw a 3D model through CAD software (such as SolidWorks), focusing on designing: the anti-slip pattern and grip arc of the brush handle (fitting the palm curve), the shape of the brush head base (adapting to the inner wall size of mainstream toilets, such as toilets with a diameter of 300-400mm), and the distribution of bristle implantation holes (hole spacing 2-3mm, ensuring dense bristles and not easy to fall off). In the mold design stage, use Moldflow software to simulate the injection molding process, optimize the gating system (the brush handle uses a side gate to avoid leaving gate marks on the surface; the brush head base uses a pin gate to ensure uniform filling of the special-shaped structure) and the cooling system (arrange water channels according to the thickness of the brush handle and brush head, cooling time controlled at 25-40s to prevent warping). The mold material is P20 pre-hardened steel (small and medium batch production) or H13 hot work mold steel (large batch production, service life ≥500,000 times), ensuring that the mold cavity precision reaches ±0.1mm and the surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm.

2. Injection Molding

Select raw materials according to component functions: the brush handle usually uses PP (low cost, good toughness) or ABS (high surface gloss, strong rigidity), and the brush head base usually uses PP + 10% glass fiber (enhancing wear resistance, avoiding deformation after long-term use). During raw material preparation, mix plastic particles with color masterbatches (such as basic colors like white and gray, adding ratio 1%-2%) and antioxidants (0.2%-0.5%, delaying aging) evenly, and put them into a dryer (temperature 80-100℃, time 2-3 hours) to remove moisture, avoiding bubbles after injection molding. In the injection molding stage, add the dried raw materials into the hopper of the injection molding machine, and set process parameters according to the material: PP material temperature 180-220℃, injection pressure 60-80MPa; ABS material temperature 220-250℃, injection pressure 70-90MPa; glass fiber reinforced PP material temperature 200-230℃, injection pressure 80-100MPa. The injection molding machine injects the molten plastic into the mold cavity through the screw, holds the pressure for 10-15s, then cools and sets, and finally demolds the blank through the ejection mechanism (ejector pins for the brush handle, ejector plates for the brush head base), and removes the gate residue after demolding.

3. Bristle Implantation and Assembly

The brush head base blank needs to be pretreated first: remove surface oil and impurities through ultrasonic cleaning, then apply hot melt adhesive in the bristle implantation holes (enhancing bristle adhesion to avoid falling off). Choose bristle materials suitable for cleaning needs: nylon 66 filaments (diameter 0.15-0.2mm, high softness, avoiding scratching the glaze) are commonly used for household brushes, and PP filaments (diameter 0.2-0.3mm, strong wear resistance, suitable for high-frequency cleaning) are commonly used for industrial/public bathroom brushes. Use an automatic bristle planting machine for bristle implantation, and adjust the bristle density by area (density of key cleaning areas on the toilet inner wall ≥50 filaments/cm², density of edge areas ≥30 filaments/cm²). After bristle planting, heat with hot air (temperature 120-150℃, time 5-10s) to cure the hot melt adhesive, ensuring that the bristle pull force ≥5N (tested by a pull tester to avoid falling off during use). In the assembly stage, connect the brush handle and the brush head base through thread connection (the bottom of the brush handle is designed with external threads, and the brush head base is designed with internal threads, with a fitting gap ≤0.1mm) or snap connection (interference fit to ensure firm connection without looseness). Some styles also need to install hanging hole accessories or magnetic sheets, and finally check whether the overall structure is stable and the bristles are neatly arranged.

4. Quality Inspection and Packaging

Quality inspection is carried out in multiple links:

Appearance Inspection : Check whether there are scratches, bubbles, color differences on the surface of the brush handle and brush head, whether the gate residue is completely removed, and whether the bristles are neatly arranged and free of broken filaments;

Structure Inspection : Test the connection strength between the brush handle and the brush head (apply 50N pull force, no loosening or breaking), and the bristle adhesion (randomly select 10 bristles, each with a pull force ≥5N);

Function Inspection : Simulate the toilet cleaning scenario, test the fit degree of the brush head to the arc surface (fit rate ≥90%), the stain residue rate after cleaning (≤5%), and at the same time test the anti-slip performance of the brush handle (no slipping when held with wet hands).
