Integrated/Split Design of Seat Pan and Backrest: Ergonomic office chairs adopt split injection molding of seat pans and backrests, and the two are assembled through metal connectors ;  simple models adopt integrated injection molding , and reinforcing ribs are made at the transition between backrest and seat pan, with flexural strength ≥80MPa;

High Load-Bearing Structure of Five-Star Base: The five-star base adopts a radial reinforcing rib design , and the injection material uses glass fiber reinforced PP or PA66 with static load-bearing ≥500kg, dynamic load-bearing ;

Uniform Wall Thickness and Stress Dispersion: The wall thickness of large parts is controlled at 2.5-4mm , and a gradual wall thickness design is adopted ;  key stress-bearing parts are rounded to disperse stress and avoid fracture risks.

High frequency usage scenarios (call centers, training institutions): Adding anti fatigue agents to chair seats and backrests to improve material creep resistance and extend service life.

1. Product Design and Mold Development

(1) Product Design

Structural design: Draw a 1:1 3D model of the office chair using CAD software, with a focus on designing parameters for the "S" curve of the chair back, layout of hollow holes in the chair seat, and distribution of five starred foot reinforcement ribs; Annotate key dimensional tolerances

(2) Mold development

Mold material: H13 hot work mold steel is used for large components such as chair seats and backrests; The five-star foot mold is made of NAK80 pre hardened steel due to high stress;

Mold cavity design: using single or double cavity molds (chair seat mold 1 mold 1 cavity, five-star foot mold 1 mold 2 cavities); For hollow structures, the mold is equipped with a core pulling mechanism to ensure complete hole formation;
